Examination – Duration 2 hours

The “PECB Certified Outsourcing Manager” exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The exam covers the following competency domains:

  • Domain 1 – Fundamental principles and concepts in Outsourcing Management
  • Domain 2 – Outsourcing best practices based on industry standards
  • Domain 3 – Designing and developing an outsourcing governance framework
  • Domain 4 – Procurement lifecycle for Outsourcing (initiation to termination)

T RAJAGOPAL spent many years as a Corporate Senior Management Staff with Singapore Technologies Group for over 16 years in the late seventies and early nineties leading and stewarding Global Supply Chain Management operations. He was also the then Deputy Chairman of the Group Materials Buying Group for Singapore Technologies Group. Later wanting to share such wealth of knowledge he complemented that corporate vast exposure with over 8 years of academic stint. He developed and led a Global Supply Chain Management Module teaching and leading final year Polytechnic Students for this critical module.
He has taught and led many Supply Chain and related programs including Certification Programs regionally in the eighties for the Certified Purchasing Manager (USA) in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta apart from Singapore. He is the developer and owner of two Intellectual Property rights covering two important sustainability issues on revving up the ground and in reducing waste through the application of digital information and demand forecasting.

He served as the Singapore Roundtable President of the Global Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (www.cscmp.org) for two terms from 1999 to 2004. In 2004 the first International Conference outside USA was held in Singapore where he was joint Chairman. The theme then was ` ASIA…where the Supply Chain begins’. He has also presented a paper in 1997 for the USA Institute of Supply Management (www.ism.ws) on the topic “Sourcing in South East Asia – A win-win Strategy’ attended by leading US MNCs Senior Procurement Managers.

It is his fervent desire to see more and more local and regional businesses to adopt and align their processes using ISO standards as an important alignment. He will be leading the ISO Programs on Sustainable Procurement and Outsourcing Management. His team members in their respective fields will focus on other areas and share their specific vast and varied domain experience to facilitate the integration of theory into practice.
