Sarbojit M. Bose is an experienced and qualified Trainer/Facilitator/Mentor with specialization in the areas of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Data Privacy and Protection, plus Program and Project Management. In his 30 over years in the ICT Industry, he has about 25 years of working experience with MNC ICT Service Providers in India, USA, UK, South Africa, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and more nations in APAC region.

His core competency was training prime Cybersecurity / Information Security courses from Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), ISC2 and ISACA. He is an authorized trainer for CSA, NCSP& DOI.

His vast and varied practical experience speaks volumes for his knowledge. The effective theory practice integration and the hallmark of knowledge empowerment is his forte.

R Muralitharan has a keen interest in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Hence his dual degree in Social Sciences and Law.

He has handled a diverse group of clients due to his strong client management approach. He has a deep grounding in legal research and writing. He has handled many cases assisting Senior Lawyers in all facets of law including Workplace Safety and Health.

He was for a brief period in a Shipping Group handling claims and providing legal assistance. He has worked in high-profile cases regarding crew wage and ship arrest. He has done research on Sustainable Practices in the Shipping Sector.

As a Legal Executive, he has handled a variety of cases ranging from matrimonial matters and shareholder agreements. He has assisted Partners in various litigation matters including bankruptcy applications, shareholders disputes, consumer banking disputes, white-collar crimes and contractual disputes including WSH issues. He has had experience in various other legal matters.

He was also for some time in the Re-Insurance Group where he worked with international clients to coordinate contracts and documents and align interests through discussions and consensus forming.

At SMU he was a Founding Member of the SMU School of Social Sciences Envoy 1st Exco. He has been involved in various leadership roles including achieving a Dean’s List once. In Junior College, he was the Captain of the Golf School Team.
Prior to his legal career, he was for some time in the Peoples Association as a Constituency Manager where he served under many MPs in assisting them in various community engagements.

During his National Service, he was awarded Soldier of the Month displaying both exceptional initiative during the Army Training Evaluation Centre (ATEC) evaluation and in motivating battery mates.

At the Community Service level, he has assisted MPs and ministers at the Meet-The-People Sessions. All in all, his well-grounded exposure and his keen interest in legal research will be a good platform for the Webinar he is leading. It will help Safety Officers and Managers and others in understanding legal principles and how it is applied.
